Its always a trill to be able to be involved in a culturally  different wedding and in Singapore, we are so blessed to be able to witness different types of celebrations from communities that hold their matrimonial in our quint island. This beautiful property place called The Danish Seaman Church is where we document our couple Jesper & Sun-Hee join in marriage. The surroundings are lush greenery and inside motif tiles and decorations of the sea activities like the anchors, miniature ships and even a float are part of the church’s artifacts.

I always found its not too hard not to understand one’s language as I rely on body language and common sense as one indicator of what’s happen next. Its always twice the fun when you have to constantly look out for the next image and watch for the wedding proceedings.

Like all weddings, its hardwarming when friends come together to bless your union and enjoy a great time together!

As wedding photographers, we often have the privilege to jet around the world for our work. Be it the near Bali, Phuket to the further London, Paris to the exotic Morocco and Fiji. The world’s full of infinite possibilities. Here some of the awesome weddings i’ve had the opportunity to document the last couple of years.

Lets start off from the near destinations. South East Asia is full of amazing beaches and it is not surprising that we often end up on beautiful sandy beaches for regional weddings.

Koh Samui

Having a fun dip in the pool before the wedding to chill off in Phuket. Off course many end up in the pool after the wedding party as well.

For couples who are willing to travel further away to more exotic beachfront there’s always Seychelles

Or travel to Fiji for their famous “Bula”s and Kava.

or the limitless horizon @Fiji

You need not be at the beach to chill out too. @Santorini

Then there’s the strong cultural influence in the architecture @ Marrakech, Morocco

Or the amazing glass domed Syon Park, London.

The world famous British gardens work as nice backdrop for pictures.

Then there are the impressive churches. This one’s in Subiaco, Perth

Perth’s famous for their vineyards too.

We head back to Europe for our final destination of this post. Where else more romantic than Paris, the city of lights.

This month of May, Let There Be Light Photography (Anthony Levi Kho) and EyeDeas Photography (Ron Lee) flew in together to shoot Taiwanese media celebrities Blackie Chen (陳建州 aka 黑人) and his beautiful wife, Christine Fan (范范 范瑋琪)’s wedding in a star-studded celebration in the bustling city of Taipei.
For those who are in touch with the Taiwanese variety media scenes, Blackie & Christine are no strangers on and off screen as a golden couple who Love.Life, each other and their common faith in God. On 7th May 2011, they sealed their marriage vows with a beautiful church ceremony and a grand dinner attended by the who’s who in the Taiwan entertainment scene @ W Hotel, Taipei!

Their wedding day, held on the island of Sentosa in Singapore, started with a lovely intimate solemnization at the Amara Sanctuary Resort. Right after their processional, Valerie and Geoffrey surprised guests with a lion dance performance by a local troupe.

With guests coming in locally and from abroad, the couple pulled out all the stops during dinner at the venue’s restaurant – Shutters – with an amazing first dance, touching speeches and a party to remember!

It was a short and sweet ceremony with family and close friends, the way a wedding should be. The couple got to hang out with them over brunch and the overall mood was very relaxed. They held their wedding banquet 2 weeks after, when they turned their wedding reception into a casino allowing their guest to mingle and “gamble”.
